1. Nature, Contents, Condition and value of consignment are unknown to the Muranipur Union Transport Co. here after calling the company. The company can do the goods as backed, at the owner’s risk.

2. The company does not guarantee delivery within the specified time and shall not be liable to any delay in transport and delivery.

3. In the event of any interruption on the booked or customary route due to cause beyond the control of the company it will be within the discretion of the company to cause the consignment to be carried by the next shortest open route on the same terms & conditions.

4. The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting due to Leakage, Breakage, Pilferage, Theft, Robbery, Weather of Temperature, Broken of Packing, Strikes, Riots, Disturbance, Fire, Explosion, Terrorism, Rain Water, Flood, Earthquake, Accident, Cyclone and Thunderbolt and any unforeseen circumstances beyond control.

5. The company reserves its right to Re-weight, Re-classify and Re-calculate the rates and charge the freight according to that.

6. The Company can refuse to book and transport the goods without assigning any reason.

7. The company shall be entitled to dispose Perishable Goods lying undelivered after 48 hours of arrival of goods without any notice. All other goods lying undelivered for six months shall likewise be disposed of without any notice. The Consignor/Consignee holding the consignment note shall be entitled only to the proceeds minus freight, demurrage and disposal charges.

8. The company shall not be responsible if the goods are Detained, Seized or Confiscated by the Government Authorities any where.

9. The company shall have the right to entrust the goods to any other transport company/truck owner for transport, in the event of so being entrusted by the company, the transferee carrier shall, between the consignor and the company be deemed an Agent of the consignor and the consignor/consignee shall be entitled to the prefer and claim for any loss/damage subject to the aforesaid condition.

10. No enquiry/claim etc. shall be entertained by the company after once effecting satisfactory delivery.

11. No suit shall be filed against the company in respect of any consignment unless a claim in writing and by registered post is made within 30 days of the delivery of goods by the consignor/consignee.

12. If the name of the consignee is mentioned in the consignment note the same will be treated as direct delivery. Means the delivery of the same may affect without obtaining a consignee copy and the company will not entertain any claim in this account.

13. This consignment not or any copy thereof is not for Banks or Private Bankers for discounting or advancing any money per negotiation in any manner whatsoever.

​

14. The company is not bound to call back or rebook the consignment from its destination.

​

15. Demurrage will be charged after 7 days from the date of arrival @ Rs. 3.00 per quintal per day on charged weight.

​

16. This company will not be liable to compensate more than the value declared by the consignor at the time of booking, but if the invoice is found less than the company will pay whichever is less.
